Annual Procurement Plan Hearing for all Procuring Entities
Annual Procurement Plan Hearing for all procuring entities is scheduled for 7 May to 11 June, 2012. The Division of Compliance & Monitoring of the Public Procurement & Concessions Commission (PPCC), in preparation for conducting the Hearing, wishes to inform Procuring Entities that the exercise is MANDATORY according to Section 40 of the Restated & Amended Public Procurement & Concessions Act (PPCA). All Procuring Entities are to draw up their draft annual procurement plans, submit same to the PPCC in advance, and be present at the Hearing as per the attached schedule. The Hearing will be conducted in the Conference Room of the Commission.
The Ministry of Finance WILL NOT honor Procurement Requests from those Procuring Entities that fail to submit their annual procurement plans to the PPCC, and be present to defend those plans inorder to have the plans subsequently approved for funding at the passage of the National budget.
