
Farewell Program for U.S. Graduate Student generates Excitements
The Conference Room of the Commission was on Thursday, May 24, 2012, a scene of excitements when Ms Erica Holton, an intern from North Carolina State University, was gowned with beautiful African attire following her two weeks stay with the Commission.
Miss Holton, an intern from the Graduate School of North Carolina State University in the United States of America, worked with the Monitoring and Compliance Division, assisting with the conduct of the annual procurement plan hearing. She is a candidate for Master of Public Administration (MPA). Miss Holton professional experience spans over ten years, working as contracts specialist in her home state, North Carolina.
Making remarks on behalf of the Commission, the Acting Executive Director, Mr. Joseph S. D. Suah, Sr., called on Miss. Holton to remain unwavering in her pursuit for academic and professional excellence. He thanked Miss. Holton for the time spent with the Commission as intern from North Carolina University.
Beaming with smiles and tears of joy for the honor, Miss. Holton praised staff members of the Commission for the honor and the warm reception accorded her during the period of her internship. She promised to remain professionally engaged with the PPCC family. “I am really pleased with the honor bestowed upon me by the PPCC, I am grateful to you all for the warm reception and the level of cordiality, I will remain engaged with you at all times”, Miss. Holton told staff members of the Commission.
